About

Western Sydney University has over 49,500 students, providing quality higher education to not just the Sydney region but to students from all over the world.

Open Day provides an opportunity for prospective students to visit the university campus and engage in a number of activities to help them answer their biggest questions: what should they study, what is university life like, and why should they study at Western Sydney University?

OPen Day campaign

Open day campaign

Project

digital Advertising
Typically a mix of print and digital advertising, due to COVID-19 in 2020, the campaign was delivered completely through the digital medium. I led the project establishing a look and feel based on the prospectus that was then applied across the entire campaign. The digital advertising consisted of animated and static social media ads, animated display ads, eDM, website takeovers, digital screens, and web banners.
The pre-event display ads performed particularly well with over 15% conversion rate, well above the industry benchmark. The overall campaign helped deliver over 9,000 registrations and over 50,000 page views for the virtual event.

Western Sydney University’s Open Day is the biggest student recruitment event on the University calendar held at multiple campuses, with over 9,000 people attending the event in 2019. Below are some of the collateral I've designed in support of this event, including programs, banners, signage, and wayfinding.
