About

PHIVE is Parramatta’s community, cultural and civic hub, located in the heart of Parramatta’s CBD. As a vibrant central gathering space, PHIVE provides a diverse year-round program of over 300 events for the local community.

Project

Brand Extension
To differentiate PHIVE’s diverse programming, a clear visual system was designed to categorise events, ensuring easy identification while maintaining brand alignment.
A comprehensive visual framework was developed to tackle this challenge, accompanied by detailed guidelines to ensure consistency across categories. This framework provides a clear set of standards for future designers.
Six event categories were identified and carefully designed, with thoughtful attention given to colour choices, scalability, and imagery to ensure flexibility and adaptability. Four of the six categories are showcased here.

Tours

School Holidays

School Holidays
The designs for the School Holidays programming feature an expanded color palette with gradients, adding vibrancy and variety. Each holiday is distinguished by its own unique colors, transitioning from cool to warm tones to reflect seasonal temperatures. The PHIVE diamond shape is also integrated, reinforcing brand identity.

Marquee

Marquee
Marquee events are the standout highlights at PHIVE. The design embraces a vibrant color palette to enhance visibility and impact. A framing device, inspired by PHIVE’s diamond shape, is incorporated, with both shapes and colors drawing direct influence from the building’s award-winning architecture.
