With over 200 degrees on offer for undergraduate study at Western Sydney University, the Themes of Study postcard series categorised these into distinct themes to help guide prospective students towards areas they were interested in, without overwhelming them.

Supplied with creative headlines for each theme such as 'Build a Better Society' and 'Investigate the Mind', I set out to represent these aspirational headlines and the vast collections of degrees they encompassed, using conceptual imagery that both captured the spirit of the copy as well as the themes being categorised.
They needed to be eye-catching and fun to stand out in a crowded marketplace such as career expos. The idea was to create a series that encouraged students to not only pick up the themed postcard in the area they wished to study, but also allow them to 'pick and collect' the rest of the series and explore where their future lies. This was done using bold typography, bold colour combinations and bold graphic imagery creating a strong body of work, while adhering to brand guidelines.
A video slideshow was also created using the postcard creative and displayed on screens in the backdrop of careers expos and student recruitment events.
