As a world-renowned university known for its research and academic excellence, TikTok presents a unique opportunity to create educational content that is fun, short, easily digestible and far-reaching.

'Catching Lightning' is a short video presented by Professor John Fletcher to explain the feasibility of using lightning as an energy source.
As the topic is not one that is easily represented using video footage, an animated approach was used for this project. Working in collaboration with the videographer, I created the background animation to bring the script to life in a fun and entertaining way.
